
SPECULATIVE DESIGN
EV CHARGING NETWORK
In this group project with Samantha Swol, Luke Fabricatore, and Bochen Peng, we were tasked with researching issues in the Electric Vehicle market, and creating solutions to those problems.
DEVELOPING TARGET AUDIENCE:
Using multiple research channels including direct and indirect resources, interviews, and several discovery visits to locations in person we developed a target audience. Our target audience helped us identify pain points commonly associated with the targeted demographic
DEVELOPING A SOLUTION:
We created a scalable system with multiple modular components, such as portable chargers that plug into the cities electrical infrastructure grid, a semi truck sized battery for charging at events or in emergencies off the grid, and an application to order the portable chargers and reserve parking.
TOOLS USED:
For this project we used Figma, Blender, After Effects, Keynote, Projection mapping, 3D Printing, Photoshop, inDesign, Procreate and an iPad Pro.
