This exploration into motion design saw the combination of an existing song with my own original typographic and motion design.

PROCESS:
I used collage like assets, paper textures, ransom note style lettering, Kepler font and the principals of animating motion design to create dynamic and visually interesting section of a lyric music video.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT:
I researched the culture and meaning behind the song, its genre, the creators, and the movement. Using direct quotes from the band members, articles talking about the music during this time period, and aesthetics found throughout the video assisted me in animating this piece. I then found visual examples from the time period this song was published to coincide with the video.
